I was born into a loving family. My dad, the “Mr. Fix It,” would take me on jobs with him to learn his trade. I had only seen a fraction of his knowledge, but he’s always been there to help me when I’m learning something new or facing a difficult task and need answers.

My mom played a crucial role in my early career. When I was 15, I got my first job at Chick-fil-A. Fast forward 20 years, and I’ve grown as a leader within the franchise, managing three locations. The owner of the franchise and his family have become like family to me. Without them, I might never have met my future wife. They taught me how to manage, lead, and love people.

After 20 years in the restaurant industry, I felt a desire for more growth and learning. I transitioned into Facility Management and was hired as an Operations/Maintenance Technician at a major private school in Gwinnett.

I’ve been continuously learning and practicing my skills. I’ve had the opportunity to attend the National Facility Management & Technology Conference in Baltimore where I was able to learn what it takes to make a building /facility run efficiently.

My goal with The Handy Hero is to help people save time and money on home repairs. I want to provide them with the assistance they need to fix things around their houses without the stress of doing it themselves while keeping costs as low as possible for everyone.
